Senior Project

SENIOR PROJECT

Expectations of the Senior Project: A student shall design and complete a project in one or more areas of concentrated study in partnership with a faculty or community mentor, with the support from the Senior Project Coordinator. The purpose of the project, which will include research, writing, and an exhibition of the product is to assure that the student be able to apply, analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information and communicate significant knowledge and understanding.
Requirements: Students must complete a minimum of 120 hours of evidenced work on their chosen project. Students are required to meet regularly with their mentor, turn in bi-weekly journal logs, write a reflection paper, present a binder of their evidence, and present their project to a panel of students and teachers.
For further information please see the links below. If you are interested in doing a Senior Project please speak with your junior year school counselor at course selection time or see the Senior Project Coordinator, Terri Quinn (tquinn@northwarren.org).
