North Warren crowned Group 1 State Champions in Golf. Congratulations to the team and coach Tillou.

SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT NWR!!! The NWR Extended School Year Program is looking for energetic and responsible volunteers who are interested in working with students with disabilities. PICK UP AN APPLICATION IN THE CHILD STUDY TEAM OFFICE, GUIDANCE OFFICE, OR COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER. ANY QUESTIONS….CONTACT Mrs. Wetzel or Ms. Roberts.

ImPACT TESTING for 2016-2017 School Year. Any athlete planning on participating in a sport for the 2016-2017 school year must attend, if entering 9th or 11th grade. Please see dates below:
June 15th- 9th grade @ 12:30pm Media center
June 16th- 11th grade @ 12:30pm Media center
June 17th- Grade 10 and 12 (only if you have never had ImPACT) @ 12:30pm Media Center

Technology Club will be held Wednesday after school until 3:30pm in HS23. Any student interested in design, building, trouble shooting, modeling, or any other aspect of technology should attend. There is no commitment, so come on out and see what we’re about!

FBLA Meeting. Wednesdays 7:10 AM in Media Center.

Get involved in FFA! FFA meetings are held weekly on Wednesday afternoons and mornings in the ag room HS18. Join us and discover what opportunities exist for you in agriculture!

Teen Driver Awareness

April 20th, 2016

Any student who wishes to apply for a student parking permit must attend a Teen Driver Awareness – student course (course is 2 hours). Additionally the students parent/guardian must attend the Teen Driver Awareness – Parent portion (course is 1 hour). Courses will run throughout the school year and summer. (note: Parents need only attend once, regardless of how many children they have attending North Warren Regional School)

It is strongly recommended that students take this class while they hold a special learners permit.

Upcoming Teen Driver Awareness classes:

FOR STUDENTS ONLY: Tuesday May 17th 2:30-3:30 Middle School Room #1

FOR PARENTS ONLY: Tuesday, May 17th 6:15 pm Middle School Room #1
Parent training will include a presentation called “Hidden in Plain Site” beginning at 6:30pm

A note on Random Drug Testing – High school students only

If you plan to  participate in athletics, extra-curricular clubs/activities, or obtain a parking permit,  you are required to comply with North Warren’s Random Drug Testing program.  If you have previously filled out a consent form you DO NOT need to fill out another.  Only one form is necessary for your entire high school career.  If you are new to the school, or if you are an incoming freshman, you will need to fill out the Student Random Drug Testing Consent form and return the form to Mrs. Blanchette in the main office.
