Veteran’s Invitation! Students and staff members, if you know of a family member who has served or is currently serving in the military, please extend an invitation for them to attend Voices of the Veteran’s program, scheduled for May 19. Please see Mrs. Horn for more information and registration materials.

High School Future Engineers! Freshman, Sophomores, and Junior students are invited to attend a field trip to Rutgers Busch Campus on March 16 to learn about careers in engineering. Students will attend professional presentations and lectures to learn about future prospects in the engineering field. Seating is limited. Student cost $12 (includes lunch) Register with Mrs. Horn by Feb. 19.

High School Students: The spring menu of High School Gifted Programs is now available. Please pick up your copy in Mrs. Horn’s office.

Boys Lacrosse Sign Ups Thursday Feb 11th at 2:30 in HS 38

The SAT scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23 at Blair Academy has been postponed and will be held Saturday, 2/20.

Technology Club will be held Wednesday after school until 3:30pm in HS23. Any student interested in design, building, trouble shooting, modeling, or any other aspect of technology should attend. There is no commitment, so come on out and see what we’re about!

The 2015-16 yearbook has a new twist. Download the APP Image Share and send us your pictures from the FALL. Stop by the yearbook office for the project number and password. The yearbook will consider using any photos that are done in good taste and worthy of print.

FBLA Meeting. Wednesdays 7:10 AM in Media Center.

Get involved in FFA! FFA meetings are held weekly on Wednesday afternoons and mornings in the ag room HS18. Join us and discover what opportunities exist for you in agriculture!

NW Ski Club

January 4th, 2016

NW Ski Club trips to Camelback Mountain Resort for both HS and MS students have been pushed back to begin on Wednesday, January 13 due to current ski conditions. We will NOT be going on 1/6 as previously scheduled.

Ski Club will be going to Camelback on the following Wednesdays: 1/13, 1/20, 2/3, 2/10, 2/24.

A few reminders:

Please be advised, if any future trips are cancelled, we will make them up at the end of the season. If you purchased a season pass and would like to pick it up from Camelback Guest Services, you may do so after January 1. If you wait until our first group trip to get your pass, you MUST bring a copy of the season pass contract and release signed by your parents/guardians.
If you are being picked up by a parent from Camelback, the advisors must have a signed note in advance.
You are not allowed to bring any ski or snowboard equipment on the school bus to school in the mornings. Please find alternative transportation for your equipment. You may store equipment above the Middle School, however cannot block the door or staircase.

Amended Calendar

October 23rd, 2015

Please note that the following changes were approved at the October 5, 2015 Board of Education meeting:

  1. November 11, 2015 – Changed from a half day of school to a full day of school
  2. MS conferences previously scheduled for November 18, 2015 will now be held on November 12, 2015

A note on Random Drug Testing – High school students only

July 30th, 2012

If you plan to  participate in athletics, extra-curricular clubs/activities, or obtain a parking permit,  you are required to comply with North Warren’s Random Drug Testing program.  If you have previously filled out a consent form you DO NOT need to fill out another.  Only one form is necessary for your entire high school career.  If you are new to the school, or if you are an incoming freshman, you will need to fill out the Student Random Drug Testing Consent form and return the form to Mrs. Blanchette in the main office.
