ALL High School TSA projects are due Friday, March 14th!
No late submission will be accepted by the NJ TSA. Mr. Johnson is available in room HS23 all week after school. Projects must be finished on time to participate in the State Conferences.
Middle School Track and Field -
Uniforms are due to Mr. Kinney in room 8 by Friday, March 7th. You will be charged for a replacement uniform if you do not turn in the uniform by the due date.
Spring sports begin this Friday afternoon. With the limited space on campus to practice due to the snow on the fields we are asking that we keep the very back student parking lot OPEN after school at 2:30pm. If you use this area during the day we only ask that you move your vehicle in the parking lot closer to the building after hours to enable teams a place to practice outside on a daily basis. Thank you cooperation and understanding to help during this difficult time to proper practice. Our student athletes and coaches really appreciate your effort in this matter.
ATTENTION JUNIOR GIRLS: You have an opportunity to apply for nomination to the Girls’ Career Institute at Rutgers University. Girls’ Career Institute is an annual program held at Douglass College and sponsored by the NJSFWC for high school Junior girls to explore women’s issues and encourage awareness to contemporary problems. If you are interested in applying, please submit your resume and a one page essay on “The Importance of Women in Leadership Roles” to Ms.Quinn by March 7, 2014. We will choose one female to nominate for the Career Institute based on your essay, extracurricular activities and your academics. Please make sure you are available to attend, the program is June 9-12 (these will be excused absences by our administration). If you would like to ask last year’s attendee about her experiences, please let me know and I will put you in touch with her. Please see me with any questions.
Attention Seniors: Any senior who still wishes to attend the Senior Cruise or the Senior Picnic needs to see Ms. Serzan with your deposit ASAP.
If there is any student or staff member who would like to sing the National Anthem at our home winter events, please see Mr. Simonetti or Mrs. Erd in the Athletic Office.
The media center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 3:20. See you there!
