ImPACT TESTING FOR 2015-2016 School Year. ANY ATHLETE PLANNING ON PARTICIPATING IN A SPORT FOR THE 2015-2016 School YEAR must attend, if entering 9th or 11th grade. Please see dates below:
June 15th- 9th grade @ 12:30pm Media center
June 16th- 11th grade @ 12:30pm Media center
June 17th- Grade 10 and 12 (only if you have never had ImPACT) @ 12:30pm Media Center

The Lady Patriots were successful in beating Pequannock in the State Sectional Semi-Final Game 6-4. They will now move on to the State Sectional Final against Ramsey. Great Job Lady Patriot Softball.

The State Softball Game will be played Friday, May 29th at 2pm.

Peer Leadership Applications are available for the 2015-16 school year. Any current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student may apply. All current peer leaders must fill out an application to apply for next year. Applications are available on Ms. Loughlin’s and/or Ms. Ritchie’s door.

Attention all students grade 8-11th. Cross country sign ups will be on Thursday, May 28th at 2:30 in high school 2. Come and get some information about the team and meet the coaches! We look forward to seeing you there!!

SUMMER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT NWR!!! The NWR Extended School Year Program is looking for energetic and responsible volunteers who are interested in working with students with disabilities. PICK UP AN APPLICATION IN THE CHILD STUDY TEAM OFFICE, GUIDANCE OFFICE, OR COLLEGE AND CAREER CENTER. ANY QUESTIONS? Contact Ms. Roberts or Mrs. Wetzel.

Writer’s Rhombus, NWR’s writing club, meets Tuesday 2:20 to 3:20 in the media center. Bring a project and your ideas! All writers welcome!

The media center is open Tuesdays and Thursdays until 3:20. It’s a great place to study, do homework, or read. Bring a friend!

JOIN THE LEO CLUB: Leo Club meets every Thursday @ 7:15am in HS RM 27. New members welcome grades 7-12! Please see Ms. Mercurio if you have any questions!

FFA meetings are held on Wednesdays before school at 7:00am and after school in HS18. Meeting attendance is required for barnyard day participation. Meet your FFA officers, discuss opportunities for leadership and community service, and discover opportunities to compete at the State level. FFA is available to interested middle school students as well. Everyone is welcome to attend!

The Interact club meets every Tuesday at 7:10 am in the media center. New members welcome grades 7-12.

Spanish Honor Society members offer peer tutoring in Spanish every Tuesday and Thursday, 2:30 – 3:00 in the media center.

A note on Random Drug Testing – High school students only

If you plan to  participate in athletics, extra-curricular clubs/activities, or obtain a parking permit,  you are required to comply with North Warren’s Random Drug Testing program.  If you have previously filled out a consent form you DO NOT need to fill out another.  Only one form is necessary for your entire high school career.  If you are new to the school, or if you are an incoming freshman, you will need to fill out the Student Random Drug Testing Consent form and return the form to Mrs. Blanchette in the main office.
