10/13/15 Announcements: Day A

Are you interested in learning about a career in Music Therapy? Would you like to hear someone speak about this growing career? A former NWR student will be speaking on the topic of Music Therapy on October 13th, if you are interested in attending please see Ms. Quinn in the College & Career Center for details and a pass.

Technology Club will be held Wednesday after school until 3:30pm in HS23. Any student interested in design, building, trouble shooting, modeling, or any other aspect of technology should attend. There is no commitment, so come on out and see what we’re about!

Order your Varsity Jacket, just in time for the holidays, on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. Newton Trophy will be in the cafeteria during the high school lunch periods. A deposit of $200 is necessary when placing the order.

Picture retake day for all underclassmen will be held on October 14.

Camelback Season passes and Ski/Boarding Club forms are now available for the 2016 season. See Mrs. Tynan for MS info or Ms. Abbiate for HS. Forms are also available in the main office.

The 2015-16 yearbook has a new twist. Download the APP Image Share and send us your pictures from the FALL. Stop by the yearbook office for the project number and password. The yearbook will consider using any photos that are done in good taste and worthy of print.

FBLA Meeting. Wednesdays 7:10 AM in Media Center.

Get involved in FFA! FFA meetings are held weekly on Wednesday afternoons and mornings in the ag room HS18. Join us and discover what opportunities exist for you in agriculture!

A note on Random Drug Testing – High school students only

If you plan to  participate in athletics, extra-curricular clubs/activities, or obtain a parking permit,  you are required to comply with North Warren’s Random Drug Testing program.  If you have previously filled out a consent form you DO NOT need to fill out another.  Only one form is necessary for your entire high school career.  If you are new to the school, or if you are an incoming freshman, you will need to fill out the Student Random Drug Testing Consent form and return the form to Mrs. Blanchette in the main office.
