Unfortunately, due to the high number of downed live wires creating impassable roads, North Warren Regional will again be closed tomorrow, Friday, March 9th.  Saturday detention is also canceled.

We do not make these decisions lightly, in fact, we were working all day to try to find a way to open.  Unfortunately, the numerous downed wires which will have the potential to be activated by the morning has created a situation that we cannot control or predict.  We have no option but to remain closed to ensure the safety of our students.

The warming station will be open from 3:00pm-8:00pm tomorrow.  If you are without power, please plan to stop by. There is plenty of food and of course warm showers and power outlets.

Stay safe and stay warm.  Thank you.
The warming center at North Warren Regional will be closed today 3/7/18 and open tomorrow 3/8/18, from 9AM to 9PM.

North Warren Regional will be closed tomorrow 3/8/18.

The Middle School Dance Scheduled for Friday, March 9, 2018 is cancelled.
First, we want to extend a welcome to any families that have been affected by this devastating storm. North Warren will be open as a warming shelter today and tomorrow from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Please consider stopping in and grabbing a warm meal and a warm shower. We plan to host a warming shelter again on Wednesday, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, conditions pending.

We have been in constant contact with our Offices of Emergency Management and our DPW, as well as our local Mayors and Officials. The damage in our area is devastating with low hanging wires and trees across many major roadways. JCP&L is reporting that close to 70% of our residents are still without power. As such we are mindful that families may choose to temporarily relocate to find warmth and shelter outside of our immediate area.

To that end we are announcing today that North Warren Regional will be closed both Tuesday March 6, 2018, and Wednesday March 7, 2018. We will try to make a decision about Thursday as soon as we can, so that families have time to plan.

Please stay warm, and stay safe.

Plenty of heat, power, food, and hot water showers available at the High School for any resident of our area - we will open again today from 4:00-9:00pm. We also have hundreds of bottles of donated water for residents.  #nwrpride
