Please see the two news articles below regarding broadband internet in our region. As you know, Mayor Starrs has been leading this initiative with Congressman Gottheimer. We are awaiting final approval of the USDA Broadband internet grant submitted by PlanetConnect on behalf of our region. It looks like additional CARES funding may also be applied toward this extremely important project.

Once we hear about the USDA Federal grant for broadband, we will be asking for support to move forward with the process. This will include lobbying other government entities for additional funds to help increase broadband connection in our region.
