  • Position: Principal, Grades 7–12
    Location: Blairstown, New Jersey
    Employment: Full-Time

    North Warren Regional School District is seeking an experienced, student-centered, and collaborative educational leader to serve as Principal for Grades 7–12. The successful candidate will provide strong instructional and administrative leadership while fostering a positive, inclusive, and academically focused school environment. The Principal will work closely with students, staff, families, and the Board of Education to support student achievement, school culture, and the continued growth of the district.
    Responsibilities:
    ● Provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operation of the Grades 7–12 school
    program.
    ● Lead, evaluate, and support faculty and staff.
    ● Develop and maintain a positive, safe, and respectful school culture.
    ● Promote high academic expectations and student achievement.
    ● Use student achievement data to inform instructional practices and school improvement
    efforts.
    ● Support effective curriculum development, implementation, and assessment.
    ● Supervise student discipline and ensure consistent application of district policies and
    procedures.
    ● Foster strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
    ● Collaborate with district administration, the Board of Education, and other stakeholders.
    ● Support professional development and continuous improvement among staff.
    ● Oversee school activities, programs, and events.
    ● Ensure compliance with district policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
    ● Promote opportunities that support the academic, social, emotional, and extracurricular needs
    of students.
    ● Communicate effectively with all members of the school community.
    ● Serve as a visible, approachable, and accountable leader within the school.

    Qualifications:
    Required
    ● Minimum Master's Degree Required
    ● New Jersey Principal Standard Certificate or a Certificate of Eligibility for Principal
    ● Knowledge of research, current practice, national and state initiatives, student outcomes, and
    program evaluation
    ● Attend/participate in grade level meetings
    ● Must be reliable and of good moral character
    ● Must meet criminal background check
    ● Strong Knowledge of Federal and State Law
    ● Working Conditions: Full Time Tenure Track
    ● If you already work for the school district as of September 1, 2011, and you do not live in New
    Jersey, you are not required to move to New Jersey
    ● However, if you begin your office, position or employment on September 1, 2011 or later, you must
    reside in New Jersey
    ● If you do not reside in New Jersey, you have one year after the date you take your office,
    position or employment to relocate your residence to New Jersey
    Preferred:
    ● Experience as a principal or assistant principal.
    ● Experience leading a 7–12 school or similar secondary school setting.
    ● Knowledge of New Jersey educational regulations and requirements.
    ● Experience working collaboratively with faculty, families, students, and community
    stakeholders.
    ● Demonstrated success using data to improve student outcomes.
    Benefits:
    ● Salary: $135,000.00-$150,000.00
    ● Per Negotiated Contract
    Working Conditions: Full Time Tenure Track
