Multicultural Fair

The North Warren Regional Spanish Honor Society in conjunction with the World Language Department is hosting the 7th annual Multicultural Fair on Thursday, October 3rd from 9am to 12 pm to showcase our diverse community heritage.
We are currently looking for presenters, exhibits and performers from the community and asking students, parents, faculty, community members, and businesses to help.  The multicultural fair will include informational stations and booths where photos, posters, authentic objects or art, books, research projects, jewelry, traditional dress, musical instruments, demonstrations and/or foods can be displayed.   Participants can perform on stage throughout the day by dancing, singing, or playing an instrument or song native to their country or heritage.  Participants can also offer instructional demonstrations such as martial arts, calligraphy, etc.
Throughout the morning, October 3rd, students and faculty are invited to take a stroll “around the world” to visit the many unique places, customs and traditions that our community heritage has to offer.  Please note that the event will be held outdoors.  In the event of rain, we will move indoors to the HS gym.  If you are interested in participating in the seventh  annual Multicultural Fair, please complete and submit the attached form by September 25th.   If you have any questions, please email aabbiate@northwarren.org.  This is a free event and we hope to continue this annual tradition.
