Dear Parents:
The 2018 School Performance reports are now available.
The following link NWR school data will allow you to review the reports for our district as well as the parent letter suggested by the Department of Education (state parent letter). As you can see I have chosen not to use the Department of Education letter.
The timing of the release of these reports, unfortunately, coincides with the release of the FY20 New Jersey State Budget whereby North Warren Regional School District will lose an additional $350,000 in state aid. This brings our total lost aid to $600,000 over the past two school years.
North Warren Regional is the most efficient regional district in our surrounding four counties. These performance reports show that we are offering a competitive program and supporting our students in an already fiscally responsible manner. These state aid cuts are just the beginning of the significant reductions that we will be facing. North Warren Regional will face a $4 million reduction in state aid by the year 2025.
We are terrified of what this type of loss will do to our district.
