The North Warren Regional Spanish Honor Society in conjunction with the World Language Department is hosting the 7th annual Multicultural Fair on Wednesday, May 29th from 9am to 12 pm to showcase our diverse community heritage.
We are currently looking for presenters, exhibits and performers from the community and asking students, parents, faculty, community members, and businesses to help. The multicultural fair will include informational stations where photos, posters, authentic objects or art, books, research projects, jewelry, traditional dress, musical instruments and/or foods can be displayed. Participants can perform on stage throughout the day by dancing, singing, or playing an instrument or song native to their country or heritage. Participants can also offer instructional demonstrations such as martial arts, calligraphy, etc.
Throughout the day, May 29th, students, faculty, and students are invited to take a stroll “around the world” to visit the many unique places, customs and traditions that our community heritage has to offer. Please note that the event will be held outdoors. In the event of rain, the Multicultural Fair will be moved to Thursday, May 30th. If you are interested in participating in the sixth annual Multicultural Fair, please complete and submit the attached form by May 1st. If you have any questions, please email aabbiate@northwarren.org. This is a free event and we hope to continue this annual tradition.
